From a single tawa to a neighbourhood institution.

Blue Staar Tiffin Center began as a small breakfast counter on 5th Avenue, Anna Nagar West — opening early enough that the morning walkers and office-goers could grab a hot dosa before sunrise.

Over the years the menu grew, but the spirit didn't change. Stone-ground batter, freshly tempered sambar, chutneys made each morning, and a tumbler of strong filter coffee that regulars order without saying a word.
